How we organize ourselves
The path to our Exhibition...
The exhibition represents a significant event in the life of a PYP school and student, synthesizing the essential elements of the PYP, and sharing them with the whole school community. It is an opportunity for students to exhibit the attributes of the learner profile that have been developing throughout their engagement with the PYP. Since September 2016 Fifth grade students have been holding weekly meetings in order to handle all the little details that are related to the exhibition which eventually will become actions to impact their community

After some meetings, the students decided on their Central Idea, which will be guiding their inquiry process. To get there, they worked on their cooperative groups to brainstorm some ideas and after voting the students selected the following Central Idea:
"Little Actions Have a Great Impact in Society"
-Fifth grade students-
Crafting Circles
Using this strategy fifth grade students were able to socialize their experiences along the PYP program regarding the development of their social skills as an element of the cooperative work.
During this activity students were divided into different groups, the inner and outer the circles. The girls who were inside had to express their ideas and feelings related to the advantages and disadvantages when facing situations that have occurred inside the cooperative groups. Meanwhile, the girls who were outside were observing the conversation in order to provide a feedback in terms of how accurate the language, the gestures and the attitude towards the activity was.
